Blackout is a true story.

Outside of mainstream, in a world of violence, drugs, domestic abuse and peer-pressure we find a fifteen-year-old lad, piecing together how he ended up in a cell, with no memory of what brought him there.

Working with a group of young people from Dumfries, using storytelling and physical theatre, together, we created this emotional, stylistic and razor-sharp story.

Supported by the The Holywood Trust and Dumfries And Galloway Arts Festival, we also partnered with the Theatre Royal Dumfries and worked with a number of professional theatre makers, to guide the cast and crew, made up of young people.

The project was a huge success, attracting high numbers of audiences and receiving fantastic feedback.
